Invacare’s new storm serious SUCKS, i’m VERY disappointed in my new chair first time ever since I got on with invacare in the early 90′s, Their MKIV A+ joystick was PERFECT. it was small and slick, brillant concept for letting us storm users to control all aspect of the chair from the joystick. Now they got this MK6i joystick that really set them… See More back to the 70′s and 80′s, plus the design of it is UGLY and STUPID, they put the dang on/off switch on top where it’s easy to hit while driving, this makes the chair all of sudden stop, someone must been high when designing this crap. Also the new swing out part is over kill. you can’t even use their side pocket because of it. You all messed up a perfect product. GO BACK TO IT, and just improve that just ALITLE

And I HATE having to get your long based frame just because I want the big back tires. I always gotten your short based frame with big tires, why the change!!!!. This long frame is like driving a freaking firetruck or a 18 wheeler. I bet you all didn’t think that SOME of us live in small apartments or uses small vans?. Also, you should only offer the 7.2 mph speed so stupid medicare won’t have a choice on what speed to buy

If you don’t go back to your previous setup on your storm series QUICKLY, I’ll dump invacare and find another wheelchair company, and will tell all my friends to the same, since I DID turn them on to invacare!

Well after no helpful responsed from Mr. Mixon or Invacare, I’ve decided to return the crap that invacare gave me, and go with the AMYSYSTEMS power chairs http://www.amysystems.com , I test drove one, and I was really impressed, this goes 8 mph instead of 5.5 mph, and medicare WILL pay for the 8 mph, it also comes with big tires ON a short based, like invacare USED to offer before changing their option for some stupid unknown reason. Also the battery charger comes with an on / off switch like invacare chargers used to!. To all of invacare power chair users, I encourage you to look into the AMYSYSTEMS chairs for your next chair, let’s send a message to inavare that they screwed up the most perfect chair ever made!
