Invacare adds BioEnterprise CEO to board

Home health equipment manufacturer Invacare (NYSE: IVC) has added the president and CEO of Cleveland nonprofit BioEnterprise to its board.

Baiju Shah will join Elyria, Ohio-based Invacare’s board of directors, according to a company statement.

BioEnterprise was started in 2002 to help Northeast Ohio biomedical companies grow their businesses. Prior to BioEnterprise, Shah worked with consulting firm McKinsey & Co.

Shah’s “entrepreneurial and healthcare business insights will provide a unique perspective to our board,” Chairman A. Malachi Mixon III said in the statement.
