Health and wellness company Stolle Milk Biologics looking to raise $1M

Health and wellness products firm Stolle Milk Biologics is looking to raise $1 million, according to a regulatory document filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The Cincinnati-based company uses some of the latest trends in milk and dairy technology to create consumer products and ingredients that it says enhance health and well-being. The company’s fundraising plans could be good news for milk junkies as they seek out new health and wellness programs.

Stolle sells its products to companies that manufacture food, medicine and nutritional supplements. In medicine, the company says its milk products can be included in formulations that help control inflammation and assist in the relief of arthritis.

Stolle was founded in 1961 and holds more than 250 patents in “milk science.” The company hadn’t previously filed any documents with the SEC.
