Stephen McHale, Chairman and CEO of Explorys Inc., will be the featured speaker at an Ohio Venture Association luncheon on Jan. 13 at The Union Club.

McHale, with a 25-year career in founding, investing in and building technology companies, is a fitting speaker for this year’s theme: From Entrepreneur to Exit. He is recognized for his focus in data mining and business intelligence-related ventures. He serves on the investment screening committee for the North Coast Angel Fund and is also an active member of the Entrepreneurs Organization. In addition, he is on the board of directors for the Center for Families and Children, a non-profit organization that makes success possible for people in Northeast Ohio’s most challenged communities.

Explorys Inc. was founded in 2009 and is based in Cleveland. The company provides cloud-computing platform solutions, with its platform enabling the discovery of critical correlations, trends and outcomes across various patients, clinical records and diverse environments. This helps healthcare providers to leverage clinical and transactional data. Explorys offers Population Explorer, which provides scale, speed and insight that creates new opportunities for healthcare providers and insight for life sciences organizations to understand treatment protocols, usage and outcomes for their products.

The Jan. 13th event begins with networking at 11:30 a.m., followed by lunch and the presentation starting at noon. Members pay $30 with a reservation and $35 without a reservation; non-members pay $45 with a reservation and $55 without a reservation for the event.
