Rasmussen College In Green Bay Lifts Spirits Of Pediatric Patients During The Holidays

In the true spirit of giving this holiday season, Rasmussen College announced its partnership with Wisconsin charity, Hannah n’ Friends Paper Hugs, to lift spirits of pediatric patients in the greater Green Bay/Appleton area. Hannah N’ Friends Paper Hugs is a charity created by fourth-grade student, Hannah Terrien, that brings cards and gifts to children in local healthcare facilities to improve the morale of unwell children.

Rasmussen College, Hannah’s class, along with kindergarten through second grade classes at Meadowbrook Elementary, Helen Keller and Red Smith Student Councils; and the Green Bay School District offices will be touching the lives of pediatric patients for the holidays. The Rasmussen College – Green Bay campus serves as a drop-off location for the toy drive. The College’s staff and students have collected stuffed animals over a three-week window.

Rasmussen College and Hanna’s helpers will be making holiday cards for the pediatric patients at the area hospitals and the Children’s Hospital in Appleton throughout the month of December. Monday, Dec. 19, the group will deliver gifts and cards to Appleton Children’s Hospital. On Dec. 20-21, the coalition will visit local hospitals to deliver the holiday gifts.
