Ah, too bad. To be user-centric, I feel like the movement lends itself more to my mobility (and advocacy)–less so digitability.

In most parts of the world mobile phones are called mobile phones and not cell phones. Mobile health therefor suggests the use of a mobile phone. Now most phones used for healthcare applications are smart phones or tablets. Maybe we should call Mobile health SMART HEALTH.

A move in the wrong direction. Digital health is just not specific enough to define a given market and can thus be used to obfuscate rather than bring clarity to adoption trends and usage patterns.

Mobile is on the go that the difference , it is 7 mass media that be mixed with another., more mobile than pc . In developing country and all around the world .. Digital is the way of contents being access, mobile is the best support (apps, tv, data storage, messaging, internet mobile , augmented reality, speech to text, RFID, voice recognization ..) mobile is just mobile :-)

A problem I’ve seen is that the focus of Digital Health developers has been on using the older digital mass media (eg Radio, TV, Internet). This familiarity can make it difficult to see the opportunity in “Mobile” the newest mass media.
