CONVERGE product demonstration: Janssen Healthcare Innovation

July 11, 2012 1:20 pm by | 0 Comments

One theory behind improving patient adherence is it’s a question of memory and helping people stay better organized. For people who may be taking several medications at once, missing one or two medication times can lessen the effect of the drug, or negatively impact the person’s health. Johnson & Johnson (NYSE: JNJ) subsidiary Janssen Healthcare Innovations’s adherence app includes medication reminders for when to take certain drugs and when to refill prescriptions. It also provides alerts for medical appointments. Anne Fischer, senior manager for commercial trial development at Janssen demonstrated its Care4Today mobile app and website at MedCity’s CONVERGE conference in Philadelphia this week. Janssen Healthcare Innovation was a CONVERGE sponsor.
