Sleep-tracking turned wellness-tracking company Lark Technologies has something up its sleeve. A Form D filing reveals that the mobile health startup has raised $3.1 million from six investors and could continue raising another $450,000.

Lark first raised a $1 million seed round back in 2011. Investors include Asset Management Ventures, Golden Seeds and CrunchFund. With that money, the company was able to put two products on the market.

Julia Hu founded Lark in 2010 to develop a silent wristband that works with a cellphone alarm to wake a user with a soft buzz, rather than a jolting alarm that would also wake a partner. The device also tracks sleep time and patterns and can be purchased alongside additional sleep coaching services.

Earlier this year, Lark added a more general self-tracker to its offerings called LarkLife, which monitors sleep, activity and productivity. The devices are sold in Apple’s retail stores.

After hearing about the end of Zeo, which made a sleep-tracking device and app, earlier this year, it will be interesting to see what Lark does next. A media rep did not respond to an email on Monday inquiring about upcoming plans or business milestones.
