Population health continues as a key trend among healthcare professionals and organizations in 2015. After the release of several revealing studies and substantial capital raises last summer, the hotly debated transformation of the practice is at the core of innovation in patient engagement.

Continuing this conversation at MedCity ENGAGE in July is Dr. Roy A. Beveridge, chief medical officer and senior vice president at Humana. Beveridge will kick-off MedCity News’ patient engagement event July 14-15 with an opening keynote on the latest developments, and progress in population health.

At Humana, Dr. Beveridge’s brings a physician’s point of view to health care. As a practicing Oncologist for 22 years, Dr. Beveridge considers himself to be both pro-provider and pro-physician. His research has also included commercial health care programs and Medicare/Medicaid insurance.

Dr. Beveridge is a member of the MedFusion board of directors, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology. Previously, he has served on the boards of the American Cancer Society and the National Patient Advocate Foundation.

We welcome you to join MedCity News at MedCity ENGAGE on July 14-15 in Bethesda, MD. Engage is the one place that gets the entire ecosystem together to best understand the patient and consumer engagement trends at the core of healthcare innovation and reform.
