Blueprint Health spinoff gets a new name, partnership

The group, originally called Blueprint Health Collective, includes six working groups tasked with figuring out how to structure and run pilot projects to add technology in healthcare settings.

Junto Health, a Blueprint Health spinoff, has partnered with a healthcare policy group as it approaches its first anniversary. The idea behind the partnership with Sachs Policy Group is to provide Junto members — providers, payers, pharma and technology companies — with a better overview of healthcare trends resulting from reforms happening at the state and federal level.

The group, originally called Blueprint Health Collective, includes six working groups tasked with figuring out how to structure and run pilot projects to add technology in healthcare settings.

“Every organization is only taking a bite sized portion of the cost,” said Doug Hayes, the CEO of the group. “It makes doing these studies more manageable.”

In an indication of the progress made with the program, Hayes referenced a couple of examples. One group is exploring a passive but inexpensive way to measure activity-based costing metrics. Another is using data analytics
to explore how to get wearables into clinical settings to boost patient satisfaction, engagement, and education. At an upcoming summit, members will share the progress they’ve made.

In conversations with members, it has found that there are real opportunities to contextualize innovation.
