We’re talking Salesforce and tech-driven population health on this week’s MedHeads

Salesforce is making a bold entrance into healthcare with its new Health Cloud platform. We'll discuss that and the broader implications of tech-driven population health on this week's MedHeads.

Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff is taking the multibillion dollar company in a bold new direction: Healthcare. With the recent announcement of its new Health Cloud, the customer relationship management cloud system is taking on the electronic health record – branding it as a patient relationship management product.

We’ll be chatting about the new wave of tech-driven population health platforms and other top stories on this week’s MedHeads, MedCityNews.com’s look at the business of innovation in medicine.

MedHeads starts at 4 p.m. Eastern on Friday, as it does every week. Join us via the YouTube embed below, or on our Google Hangout On Air page.

MedCity News teammates Neil Versel, Nicole Oran, Chris Seper and Stephanie Baum will discuss Salesforce’s bold new foray into healthcare – as well as the company’s forthcoming Dreamforce conference next week in San Francisco. Notably, IBM Watson Health just announced its own Health Cloud this week, and its integration with Apple – so we’ll chat about that as well.

So join the MedCity News team to talk about the week that was in the business of medicine at 4 p.m. Eastern Friday.
