Health systems have been investing in healthcare startups for awhile where they see opportunities to solve certain challenges such as communication and care coordination. 1:20 PM: INVEST Now: Investment opportunities in women’s and children’s health

Pediatrics and women’s health are underserved markets. But there are new approaches to finding winning investments there, including focusing on products that offer women control, time efficiency and convenience when managing their own and their children’s health and well-being. MedCity’s Nicole Oran interviewed Tracy Warren, General Partner, Astarte Ventures, to discuss the subject.

Dan Kincaid, a member of Queen City Angels in Cincinnati, told MedCity’s Chris Seper today that his organization is making-early stage bets by helping hatch companies through increased collaboration with local technology accelerators and tech transfer offices.
