MetroHealth Foundation names two new board members

Gregory M. Jelinek is the chief credit officer – wealth management with the Private Client Group at National City, which is now a part of PNC. Dr. Kenneth E. Edelman, is the director of pelvic imaging in the obstetrics and gynecology department at MetroHealth.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — An executive vice president at National City and a physician from MetroHealth Medical Center are the two new board members for the MetroHealth Foundation.

Gregory M. Jelinek is also the chief credit officer – wealth management with the Private Client Group at National City, which is now a part of PNC.  Dr. Kenneth E. Edelman, is the director of pelvic imaging in the obstetrics and gynecology department at MetroHealth.

Edelman is also an assistant professor of reproductive biology at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

Each will serve three years on the 42-member board.

The MetroHealth Foundation is the charitable arm that supports the MetroHealth System, which is owned by Cuyahoga County and is the Cleveland area’s safety-net health system. The foundation funds programs in patient care, scientific and clinical research, and medical education and supports the health system’s overall mission.
