NeuroFlow wowed judges at the latest edition of HIMSS Ventures Connect Pitch Competition.

NeuroFlow scored a victory at the HIMSS Venture Connect pitch competition in Orlando, Florida last week. With approximately 1,200 in attendance, CEO Chris Molaro presented to the “biggest and most active investors in health tech” and beat out six other healthcare technology companies from around the country. The company’s behavioral health technology is designed to help clinicians to diagnose, treat, and measure patients more efficiently by leveraging data and telehealth. Customers fall into one of three buckets: mental health clinics, primary care/pain management clinics and large-scale health systems.

Covera Health raised $8.5 million in a Series A round to advance its analytics tools to reduce medical misdiagnoses. Covera also gives radiologists feedback so they can improve care. Click here to read more

ThinkGenetic has closed a $1.5 million financing round for its symptom matching technology. Users are asked to respond to a series of questions and symptoms they have and the health IT company’s symptom matcher suggests a selection of genetic conditions and disorders associated with those symptoms. The company took part in Mass Challenge’s digital health cohort last year, which has since been renamed Mass Challenge Health Tech.
