An information session about a campaign to get the $700 million Ohio Third Frontier bond issue passed by voters in May will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Feb. 23, at the Holiday Inn, Independence.

After a few tweaks, the Ohio Ballot Board voted Tuesday to approve the wording of Issue 1, a statewide issue to renew the Ohio Third Frontier program by authorizing the sale of $700 million in bonds, for the May 4 ballot, the Columbus Dispatch reported.

Despite a requirement that vaccine providers report data within 24 hours, many are lagging significantly behind, meaning Ohio has an inaccurate, low count of who has been vaccinated for H1N1, according to the Columbus Dispatch.

Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield members in the Akron, Canton, Cleveland and Youngstown areas now can access Anthem Care Comparison (demonstration), an online tool that provides information about costs of nearly 40 medical procedures performed at area hospitals, outpatient surgery centers and free-standing radiology facilities, as well as cost and quality information on more than 160 inpatient procedures, according to a release.
