The Ohio Venture Association has launched an exciting new program that is designed to help promising young high growth potential companies get feedback from investors and make connections to raise capital. It will be part of the 2011 Venture Capital Summit on Feb. 11. New companies should contact the OVA at (216) 566-8884 or [email protected].
The Company Showcase is held in conjunction with select OVA events and provides up to two capital-seeking companies with the opportunity to pitch their prospects for growth to an audience of investors and invited guests.
Each Company Showcase participant—who will be screened and selected by a panel of volunteers and investment professionals—will be given the opportunity to make a 15-minute presentation and field questions. Participants will be invited to network before and after the main OVA presentation as well.
Additional Information:
- All applications will be reviewed and evaluated by a selection committee appointed by the Board of the OVA.
- Submissions must be received by 5:00 p.m. on January 26th.
- Selected companies will be notified on Wednesday, February 2nd.
- Selected companies must deliver final presentations to [email protected] three business days prior to the OVA meeting.
- If selected, your company must provide a one page executive summary to be handed out at the presentation.
