Home health equipment manufacturer Roscoe Medical has purchased a company that sells electrotherapy devices.

Terms weren’t released of Cleveland-area Roscoe’s purchase of Texas-based Current Solutions in a statement from the companies.

Each company offers a wide array of healthcare products for use in the home, so it appears their product portfolios will complement each other well.

Roscoe sells wheel chairs, respiratory assistance products and bath safety devices, among other items. Current sells ultrasound devices, electrodes, topical pain-relief medicine and orthopedic braces.

“Current Solutions has a successful operation and product portfolio that will strengthen our pain management offering and provide our customers with the lineup of retail items they have been asking for,” said Paul Guth, Roscoe’s CEO.

In 2005, Roscoe was sold for an undisclosed amount to private equity firm River Associates. The company was founded in 1993.
