Online dating hopefuls have a lot to consider. There’s age, job status, height, location, whether or not someone enjoys hiking. But now the whole process could become a little simpler. That’s right, it’s time to set aside the superficial nonsense and get down to basics. Just take a look at the DNA.

SingldOut Inc. is at your service via LinkedIn, a dating website that analyzes members’ DNA and matches people based in part on genetic compatibility. It looks like it could be a hit because it’s raised more than a half-million dollars in its seed financing round from a group of private investors.

The site describes its service:

We are the first in the online dating industry to bridge the gap between the digital and biological world of Love. As a single professional, you will be matched using the latest in genetic and psychological scientific research to help you find the ideal partner with whom you have the best chances for long-term Chemistry, stable relationship, and compatible sex drive. Don’t just fall in Love, stay in Love with SingldOut!”

“We’re overwhelmed by the positive response we’ve received since the launch of Singldout.com earlier this summer,” said CEO Jana Bayad. “Closing our seed round was a huge win for SingldOut and one that will help us continue to grow in major cities across North America.”

Taking in $500,000 for its website relaunch is a great start so singles can be on their way to having a more biological compatible partner, even if they aren’t outdoorsy.
