It hasn’t been an easy task to convince young adults that they need health insurance – considering they’re invincible and all. But Get Covered Illinois is targeting the demographic in a way that just might work.

The state’s health insurance marketplace has created a new campaign is taking a humorous approach by satirically promoting the Luck Health Plan. Instead of having an insurance plan, all you need is luck to stay healthy. The ad features 20-somethings with homemade bandages made of cardboard and bubble wrap, and the logo is two crossed fingers.

At the end of the ad, one battered girl gives her bit of input, echoing the entire message. “You’ll be OK, probably.”

We’ll so how enrollment of young adults in Obamacare in Illinois does as a result.
