With the Rise of AI, What IP Disputes in Healthcare Are Likely to Emerge?
Munck Wilson Mandala Partner Greg Howison shared his perspective on some of the legal ramifications around AI, IP, connected devices and the data they generate, in response to emailed questions.
Reserve your tickets now to hear the likes of White and Humana’s Dr. Roy Beveridge, as well as take part in workshops designed to solve some of the big challenges in patient engagement.
White’s presence is important, as ONC begins a transition period with National Coordinator Dr. Karen DeSalvo’s potential transition to a new role in Health and Human Services. Plus, the debate continues over the role of patients in sculpting health policy.
The patient story, the role of technology and federal policy are completely intertwined. Appropriately, immediately after White’s keynote, MedCity ENGAGE will feature “mini keynotes” from two patients: Carly Medosch and Garth Callaghan.
White is a family physician who has dedicated his career to improving health and healthcare quality through the use and sharing of electronic health information. He has worked with the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology since 2004.
White also served as director of the Division of Health IT at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), and trained in family medicine at the University of Virginia and Lancaster General Hospital in Pennsylvania.
Join us at MedCity ENGAGE to hear White share thoughts on patient engagement and healthcare delivery.
