Martin Shkreli threatens Wu-Tang Clan member in video

Martin Shkreli Shkreli talks about cocaine in a new video railing against Wu Tang Clan member Ghostface Killah. Perhaps he should be talking about clozapine instead.

Shkreli

Some clozapine‘s in order.

Martin Shkreli’s behavior is getting progressively more erratic – and now it’s getting kind of scary. TMZ reports that the former Turing Pharmaceuticals CEO has created a video (watch it here) in which he’s making threats against Ghostface Killah – member of the rap group Wu-Tang Clan, from whom Shkreli famously purchased a one-of-a-kind album for a cool $2 million.

Shkreli is pretty irked, as TMZ points out, that Ghostface Killah referred to him as the “Michael Jackson nose kid.” So, with a crew of masked “goons” behind him and a sloshing glass of wine in hand, Shkreli makes some threats. TMZ rightly said of the video: “Think ISIS… on SNL.”

Shkreli, who is facing a world of legal hurt in the form of securities fraud charges, a Congressional hearing on drug pricing, and an FTC antitrust probe, talks about his enemies in the video:

“Most people don’t ever try to beef with me. You know why? Because they’re dumb. Every one of my enemies – they try to stay anonymous,” he said. Yep, the U.S. government, the drug industry and the general public? All dumb. Everyone is dumber than Martin Shkreli. Everyone is afraid of Martin Shkreli.

“There will be more of a price to pay than this video,” Shkreli threatens Ghostface Killah, should his name get further besmirched by the rapper.

Also notable: In the two minute video, Shkreli mentions some “China White” cocaine as well as murder. So, yeah. Daraprim’s so passé. The erstwhile pharma exec should instead be talking about clozapine. Risperdal. Zyprexa. Haldol. Abilify. This is some next level nonsense.
