CINCINNATI, Ohio — University of Cincinnati’s College of Allied Health Sciences is among the latest to take part in the school’s pilot program to offer a metropolitan tuition rate to nearby out-of-state students, according to a press release.
Students from 14 counties in Indiana and 28 in Kentucky can use the tuition rate, which is Ohio’s in-state tuition rate plus $10 per credit hour each quarter, up to a maximum of a $120 surcharge.
The College of Allied Health Sciences and College of Applied Science were added to the pilot today. The university’s business college initiated the tuition program in the fall — and applications have tripled in areas eligible for the metropolitan rate, according to the release.
