The Westborough, Mass.-based company provides the camera, light source and accessories designed specifically for Boston Scientific’s SpyGlass direct visualization system.

Boston Scientific‘s system is indicated for intraductal visualization during cholangioscopy — or the visual inspection of bile ducts — and is the first single-operator, intraductal system that allows for optical viewing and optically-guided biopsies, according to a press release.
Viking said the new agreement continues through May 2012.
