Medical education company Simbionix USA Corp. has promoted a veteran employee to vice president of U.S. business development.
William Lewandowski has worked as the company’s U.S. director of marketing for “the past few years,” according to a statement from Cleveland-based Simbionix.
Lewandowski has 21 years of experience working with simulation technology from industries including healthcare, aviation and defense.

Simbionix makes simulators that teach users how to perform medical procedures in a wide variety of areas, including urology, cardiology and laparoscopy.
The company was founded in Israel, and added operations in Cleveland in 2002.
