Property developer MMPI has unveiled a virtual tour of the $465 million Cleveland Medical Mart & Convention Center.
The video starts with an overview of the project’s downtown Cleveland campus, and also takes viewers through entry into the medical mart’s atrium and offers glimpses of the convention center’s exhibition hall, as well as the grand ballroom.
Construction on the project started a little more than a year ago. It’s slated to open in mid- to late 2013.
The Funding Model for Cancer Innovation is Broken — We Can Fix It
Closing cancer health equity gaps require medical breakthroughs made possible by new funding approaches.
Only two publicly identified tenants of the medical mart have emerged thus far — Cleveland State University and Cuyahoga Community College — but MMPI officials could announce other leaseholders in the coming months (though don’t hold your breath).
In January 2011, MMPI announced an array of about 60 prospective tenants who’d signed letters of intent to occupy showroom space in the mart, but those letters were nonbinding, so it’s unclear how many will go on to sign legally binding leases.
Below is the virtual tour of the Cleveland project, and here’s a link to an earlier virtual tour of a competing medical mart project in Nashville.
