The Funding Model for Cancer Innovation is Broken — We Can Fix It
Closing cancer health equity gaps require medical breakthroughs made possible by new funding approaches.
Affiliate hospitals also are able to use the Clinic’s name in marketing efforts, which is no small consideration when it comes to the Clinic’s No. 1-ranked heart program in the U.S.
Winfield, Illinois-based Cadence’s newest affiliation with the Clinic includes services such as interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiac imaging and noninvasive testing, plus the management of congestive heart failure, according to a statement from Cadence.
Cadence’s earlier affiliations with the Clinic covered heart surgery and adult oncology.
The Clinic has been more aggressive in seeking out such affiliation deals as it diversifies its revenue base beyond Ohio.
