The traditional Barbie has been the source of controversy for quite some time, sending an unrealistic idea to young girls about beauty standards and physically realistic body proportions.

But now there is Lammily, the doll that not only isn’t emaciated, but for $6 you can purchase stickers for things like cellulite, stretch marks, freckles, acne, glasses, bandages, moles, temporary tattoos, stitches, scratches, scars, and dirt stains. The goal is to teach young girls that these things are normal, they are human, and perfection isn’t, or shouldn’t be, the standard in our society.

Lammily creator Nickolay Lamm said the stickers were inspired, at least in part, by actress and pop star Demi Lovato. “I remember Demi Lovato tweeted about Normal Barbie and said they should make cellulite. As a joke my friend said, ‘You should add acne stickers.’”

So he did. The Lammily doll is $25 and will start shipping out January 2015.
