Israeli drugmaker Teva Pharmaceuticals and the healthcare arm of Netherlands-based Royal Philips have launched a new health tech incubator in Israel called Sanara Ventures – investing more than $25 million in the project over eight years.
The incubator’s meant to house and seed startups in the med tech space, according to the Israeli newspaper Globes. It says it’s looking for a whole variety of health care companies – those in the fields of digital health, continuum of care and disease management, diagnostics, sensing and monitoring, imaging, drug delivery and drug device combinations.
