The obesity crisis is an issue that doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon, unfortunately. But the off-putting focus of the mission to combat it, profit driven or not, is slightly absurd.

The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is now endorsing brands that can’t even dare to be called authentic products (i.e. Kraft Singles). Real cheese, fake cheese – The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart spoke up about the issue and didn’t hold back on highlighting the irony of it all. (It leads to the novel idea of a combo pasta restaurant and coffee chain.)

What is happening?
