Valentine’s day is a complex occasion. It’s a day that celebrates relationships but that often means embracing the hardships and imperfections that come with the love and affection. When it comes to healthcare, the benefits are frequently commingled with challenges and frustration. That applies just as much to healthcare policy. So it’s with that mindset that the #healthpolicyvalentines are back on Twitter once again.
Not surprisingly, President Donald Trump’s policies inspired several of this year’s valentines, from the travel ban to the push to replace the Affordable Care Act. Like last year, some contributors got an early start to the holiday.
