We may be in the dog days of summer but the deadline for the digital health startup competition at our second annual INVEST Twin Cities conference in Minneapolis on October 11 is rapidly approaching.

The Pitch Perfect contest will cast a spotlight on startups at an event that will include some of the most critical issues in digital health such as interoperability, convergence, bending the cost curve and commercialization. You can check out the full agenda here.

Pitch Perfect, which is only open to digital health companies, will select ten finalists who will present to a team of judges which will include  Jessica Zeaske, Director of Healthcare Investments, GE Ventures, and Jodi Hubler, Managing Director, Lemhi Ventures. Following each presentation, there will be a rapid fire Q & A from the judges.

  • Digital health startups;
  • Have raised at least one seed round of funding;
  • Founded in 2013 or later; and
  • Currently seeking or intend to seek additional rounds of capital within six to 12 months of the conference.

Submitting an application allows entrepreneurs to become part of MedCity’s network of startups. To qualify for Pitch Perfect at INVEST Twin Cities, applications must be submitted by September 1, 9 pm ET. Apply here.

The event punctuates Twin Cities Startup Week, which also includes the Manova Summit, a conference that focuses on the convergence of healthcare, technology and retail.
