Attention digital health startups: MedCity’s next pitch competition is looking for applicants

The MedCity INVEST Digital Health Virtual event, Sep 21-25 will spotlight healthcare startups in four categories. The application deadline is August 14 at 5pm ET.

MedCity News is gearing up for our INVEST Digital Health Virtual event, Sep 21-25. That week, we are hosting four separate pitch contests to spotlight the various ways that health tech is addressing problems in our healthcare system.

The conference will spotlight startups in four categories:

Home Health:  Startups in this category are accelerating the move away from the hospital or clinic to the home to either diagnose diseases or in delivering care. This category includes startups that could be all app-based services companies, those that have smart devices or those that create new home care models.

Chronic Disease Management and Value Based Care: Startups in this category are trying to reduce costs and improve outcomes of patients with chronic diseases including behavioral health.

Tech to Boost Payer/Provider Efficiency:  Startups in this category help to reduce both administrative and operational burden for payers and providers.

Employee Benefits:  Startups in this category could be next-generation insurance companies, care navigation companies, or any startup that helps in improving and providing an ROI on employee benefits.

Startups can apply in only one category. There is no fee to apply and the application deadline is Friday, Aug. 14 at 5 p.m. ET. Apply here today.

Note: Startups that have pitched at a MedCity event in the past 12 months are not eligible to participate in the contest and should not apply.
