INVEST Digital Health preview: What’s the recipe for a successful social determinants program?

SDoH is just one of the topics at the MedCity INVEST Digital Health conference, a virtual event scheduled for September 20-23, in collaboration with Medical Alley.

INVEST Digital Health, a conference that brings together innovative investors across the healthcare spectrum, prominent industry players and the most promising digital health startups, is scheduled for September 20-23, and held in collaboration with Medical Alley. It will be virtual this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The conference will highlight many aspects of digital health from the ethical considerations of AI in healthcare to home health, investment trends, the work of Microsoft and Google Cloud, and more.

Payers and providers are jumping on the SDoH bandwagon and rightly so given the stark health inequities we have seen during Covid. But what does an effective program look like and who’s getting it right?

Chronic Disease Management and Value-based Care – Startups in this category are trying to reduce costs and improve outcomes of patients with chronic diseases including behavioral health.

Tech to Boost Payer/Provider Efficiency  –  Startups in this category help to reduce both administrative and operational burden for payers and providers.
