Oral Genome, a leader in dental health innovation, has partnered with the Community Health Center of Snohomish County (CHC) and Washington Dental Service (WDS) to pilot a groundbreaking saliva testing program aimed at enhancing preventive oral healthcare. This initiative introduces Oral Genome’s advanced saliva testing kits into school-based health centers and traditional dental settings in Snohomish County.
The Oral Genome kits provide rapid assessments of oral health risks, including caries, periodontal disease, and diabetes, enabling early detection and proactive care. This pilot aims to bridge the gap between preventive care and intensive treatments, offering underserved populations access to cutting-edge dental technologies.

Noetik, an AI biotech company using self-supervised machine learning and high-throughput spatial data to develop next-generation cancer therapeutics, has closed an oversubscribed $40 million Series A financing round, according to a press release.
Polaris Partners and managing partner Amy Schulman led the round. Schulman will join the board of directors. New investors that participated in the funding round include Khosla Ventures, Wittington Ventures and Breakout Ventures. The round was also supported by existing investors DCVC, Zetta Venture Partners, Catalio Capital Management, 11.2 Capital, Epic Ventures, Intermountain Ventures and North South Ventures, according to a press release.

BeMe Health, a pioneering digital behavioral health startup focusing on teen mental health, has raised more than $12 million in funding to support growth in the runup to a Series A round, according to a press release. The funding from Hesperia Capital makes BeMe Health its latest portfolio company. BeMe’s investors include Flare Capital, Polaris Partners, Fiore Ventures, and the California Health Care Foundation.
BeMe works with health plans, employers, and community organizations to provide a digital-first approach to interventional teen mental health.

Vouched, a startup that specializes in AI-powered identity verification for healthcare, banking and financial services, has hired Peter Horadan as its new CEO. Horadan previously founded and led Lockstep, an accounting tech platform, before The Sage Group acquired it. Vouched’s founder John Baird will become the board chairman and Chief Strategy Officer for the business, according to a press release.
