Healthcare Startups are Running Out of Time

The deadline to apply for the INVEST Pitch Perfect Contest is January 24! In addition to a business profile, Pitch Perfect winners also receive a $20,000 branding advertising package from MedCity News.

Are you a biopharma, medical device, diagnostic or health tech startup? Looking for active investors to advance your tech and grow your customer base? Would you like the chance to win a profile in a publication that highlights the journey of healthcare startups? Then apply to our healthcare startup contest Pitch Perfect, the centerpiece of our INVEST conference scheduled for May 20 to 21 at the Willis Tower in Chicago. The winners also receives a $20,000 branding advertising package from MedCity News!

The application deadline is now January 24.

INVEST Pitch Perfect showcases healthcare and life science startups in our four-track pitch contest, INVEST Pitch Perfect. Each of the four tracks has a focus:

Biopharma
Startups focused on infectious diseases.

Devices & Diagnostics 

Startups focused on chronic diseases and their management. 

Health tech: Consumer/Employer
Startups addressing care navigation and care coordination.

Health tech: Payer/Provider
Startups leveraging artificial intelligence.

There is no fee to apply for the contest. The application deadline is January 24, 2025. Investment professionals will review applications, and selections will be announced starting in April 2025.

Here are the criteria for the contest:

Startups that have been finalists and pitched at any INVEST event in the past 12 months are not eligible to apply.

Startups should apply to only one track.

Startups must be registered for the conference in order to participate in the pitch contest. The startup rate is $695 and a code will be sent to you if you are selected to pitch.

Each track will include six finalists.

Eligible startups are no more than five years old, except for biopharma/device and diagnostic startups, which can be up to 10 years old
