MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio — The electronic health records business Noteworthy Medical Systems has named Susan E. Hagerty its new chief executive officer, the company announced today.

Hagerty was president of CompuGROUP Holding USA, which in February acquired a majority stake in Noteworthy. She replaces Lawrence Dolin, who co-founded Noteworthy. Dolin will remain on the board of directors and work as a consultant, according to the company release.

Before working at CompuGROUP, Hagerty was the executive vice president for Profdoc ASA, a healthcare software company in Norway.

Noteworthy had in the past year completed acquisitions of the software companies ChartConnect Inc. and MARS Medical Systems Inc. to create an intergrated health records system.

“In recent months Noteworthy has successfully achieved significant milestones, most notably a strong and competitive ambulatory product suite and health information exchange that serve practices, hospitals and health systems,” Hagerty stated.

“This is a particularly exciting time in the healthcare information technology landscape to lead Noteworthy to the next level of success,” she stated.
