Medical education and training company Simbionix USA has launched two new women’s health surgical simulation products.
One product, the Pelvic Mentor, combines a mannequin with a computerized 3-D system and is intended to prepare gynecologists and urogynecologists for pelvic floor reconstruction with an emphasis on transvaginal mesh procedures, according to a statement from Cleveland-based Simbionix.
The second product is a laparoscopic hysterectomy training module for obstetrics and gynecology surgeons.
Reducing Clinical and Staff Burnout with AI Automation
As technology advances, AI-powered tools will increasingly reduce the administrative burdens on healthcare providers.
Additionally, Simbionix has created an online network of communities for physicians to share information and learning that the company calls Simposia.
“Not only are we introducing cutting-edge, hands-on training products, we are also providing a platform for enhanced community learning and sharing,” said Gary Zamler, CEO of Simbionix USA.
Simbionix announced the new products at the Global Congress of Minimally Invasive Gynecology in Hollywood, Florida.
