One of a string of regional health IT accelerators popping up across the country, in places like New York, Philadelphia and Cincinnati, is open for market-ready or in-market healthcare IT solutions in Northeast Ohio.
Cleveland’s H.I.T Accelerator is now accepting applications for its Winter 2013 session. The program, formed in February by BioEnterprise, provides startups with guidance and exposure to potential customers. Formed in February, the accelerator is a collaboration between life science initiative BioEnterprise and a number of area healthcare and research organizations, including the Cleveland Clinic and Case Western Reserve University.
Unlike some other digital health and health IT accelerators, though, it’s not for early-stage companies. Products that are in development stage or in beta form are not eligible.
