Back in 2012, recreational marijuana became available for purchase in Colorado, and more than just the political angle of the subject, the legalization has had an additional impact.

Gabby Everett, the site director for BioLabs Pegasus Park, offered a tour of the space and shared some examples of why early-stage life science companies should choose North Texas.
The more than $975,000 of grants handed out this week is part of a larger fund of $2.5 million created by the state legislature for schools to hire health professionals, according to The Denver Post.
The state appears to be using the pot tax revenue in positive ways to help the public. In August, it was reported that $1 million of the revenue is being used for school construction projects.
