Ahmed Albaiti

Ahmed Albaiti, is President and CEO of Medullan, Inc. He is an entrepreneur and thought leader in emerging healthcare technologies. He has spent 15 years in the IT service industry, of which the last six were focused on Healthcare and Life Sciences. In 2004, he founded Medullan, Inc., a rapid-growth firm that provides innovative technology solutions to the Healthcare and Life Sciences Industries. As CEO he has organically grown a globally distributed software presence, while leveraging key business and technology partnerships. Ahmed serves as a product strategist and mHealth subject matter expert for Medullan’s key clients such as Aetna, Humana, Optum Health, Verizon and others providing guidance on mobile health strategy and product innovation. Prior to Medullan, Ahmed led the Clinical Research Enterprise IT Group at Partners Healthcare Systems. At Partners, he was instrumental in developing the division’s team and delivery methodology for enterprise-class software applications. To take this pioneering Research IT solution from concept to adoption, Ahmed worked with key internal stake holders from various groups including Research Finance, Grants Management, Personnel Management and Compliance. Prior to Partners, Ahmed spent 5 years at Sapient delivering business consulting and technology solutions to Fortune 500 companies. Ahmed holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI).
