Andrea Sanchez is the vice president of Legal and SaMD at Medable. She leads Medable’s Legal and Privacy teams and the SaMD (digital devices, digital therapeutics, digital diagnostics) program. Prior to Medable, Andrea spent more than a decade running a private legal firm, served as assistant general counsel for the Vines of Mendoza in Argentina, and started her career as assistant district attorney in Bexar County, TX. Andrea is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and earned her law degree from Baylor University School of Law in 2003.
Now that trials can happen nearly anywhere, privacy teams and lawyers need to understand how data is collected, stored, managed, disseminated, and ultimately, archived or deleted.
