Anna Sever, senior vice president of strategy and growth and interim CEO of Magellan Federal, and military spouse herself, has more than 25 years of experience working in the federal health and human services sector. She also worked in state government where at the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare she was responsible for Medicaid, adult mental health, children's mental health, child welfare and adult protective services. She received her master’s in social work with an emphasis on administration and a graduate certificate in gerontology from the University of South Carolina.
May's Mental Health Awareness Month provided an important reminder of how critical it is to reflect on the mental health crisis facing our armed forces, and how a collaborative approach that combines personal counseling services, strong clinical interventions, and innovative self-service digital solutions can make a difference.
