As both a clinical psychologist and executive business leader, Jon Evans has dedicated his career to moving healthcare delivery and outcomes into the future and advancing telepsychiatry as an agent of change. His work launching, scaling, and exiting three psychiatry-focused organizations culminated in establishing innovaTel, a pioneering behavioral health-as-a-service platform company to expand same-day access to psychiatric care by connecting organizations with highly qualified psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and licensed clinical social workers. He believes that as healthcare leverages emerging advances in technology, the effects on patient care outcomes and patient experience will continue to improve over time.
While the healthcare system has its share of struggles nationwide, the problem is especially severe in rural areas where there is a shortage of physicians and some hospitals are closing permanently.
