Julia Lakeland, BA (Hons.) is a Product Director at PAREXEL who is passionate about improving the patient experience within the Clinical Trial. She is a key strategic player in identifying and understanding market problems and driving new business opportunities, conducting market research and competitive analysis, making investment decisions and creating a vision which delivers products and services that enable biopharmaceutical companies to bring new treatments to market safely and quickly. Prior to this role, Julia led a department responsible for the provision of externally facing, multi-lingual support services via global locations based in the UK, US, India, China and Japan. She expanded the group from providing standalone technical support through to the global multi-functional clinical trial support center that is today responsible for providing a range of both technical and vital clinical trial support services, including 24/7 medical escalation and patient support. Prior to joining PAREXEL Julia was formerly with ClinPhone and has held positions within the company since 1999.
