John J. Polk has over 30 years of leadership experience as a health care reform advocate in both the non-profit and corporate sectors. As Executive Director of Cleveland's Council Of Smaller Enterprises (COSE), he led the formation of what was the nation's largest private health insurance exchange for small employers and the self-employed, and a national model for private health reform. As a managed care executive and consultant, he has assisted corporate and non-profit clients in assessing and improving the effectiveness of their small group health care plans and managed care delivery systems.
