Laura Marsden

Laura’s passion is leveraging ethnographic research and innovative digital solutions to provide patients, clinicians and researchers with real time data and meaningful insights.

As Digital Health Lead at Jabil Healthcare, Laura directs the division’s work on digital health platforms, guiding the translation of data and insights to actionable, agile product development for intuitive healthcare devices. Her roles in patient advocacy, healthcare improvement implementation, and medical device research and development provide a unique perspective and customer-centric approach to her work. Deeply experienced in the strategic business and product development of complex surgical systems, Laura is a champion of usability and risk management practices in accordance with FDA guidance and international medical standards.
Based out of Jabil’s Boston-area operations, Laura serves as a member of the Massachusetts General Hospital for Children’s Parent & Patient IBD Advisory Council, which she co-founded. Laura earned a BFA in Industrial Design and Human Factors Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology and has been practicing in the medical field for over 25 years.
