Robin Thurston is the CEO of Helix, a personal genomics company dedicated to empowering every person to improve their life through DNA. Under his leadership, Helix is using true Next Generation Sequencing to create a marketplace for DNA-powered products that will empower every person to improve their life through DNA.
Robin most recently served as the Chief Digital Officer of the innovative sports apparel and footwear company Under Armour, where he led the overall strategic direction of the company’s Connected Fitness business. Prior to joining Under Armour, Robin was co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of MapMyFitness which he grew into one of the world’s largest open fitness tracking platforms that includes #1 apps MapMyRun and MapMyRide.
Robin spent the first fourteen years of his career building innovative financial products and platforms at Lipper (a Thomson Reuters Company), American Century Investments, and Wellington Management.
