The California Department of Health Care Services launched the Behavioral Health Virtual Services Platform last week. The platform includes two digital health solutions: BrightLife Kids (developed by Brightline) for parents/caregivers and kids ages 0 to 12 and Soluna (developed by Kooth) for teens and young adults ages 13 to 25.

Brightline’s services are now available to all of Evernorth’s employer clients across all 50 states, as well as Cigna’s customers who receive health coverage through their employer or marketplace exchange plans. These services include educational content about mental health concerns, interactive exercises, one-on-one coaching and care with therapists and psychiatrists.
Brightline, a telehealth company that provides pediatric mental health care, received a $10 million investment from Northwell Health. The startup will use the funds to scale its platform, as well as pursue a strategic partnership in which Northwell's patients receive in-network care on its platform.
