iPad, iPhone app for electronic medical records. “Epic Systems Corporation launched their free MyChart application (app) for the iPhone, iPad and iTouch.”
Medtronic board member Pozen running for Senate? “Robert Pozen, a member of the board of directors at Minneapolis medical device giant Medtronic Inc. (NYSE:MDT) may be mulling a run at the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Scott Brown (R-Mass.), according to press reports.”
Stent drug maker Angiotech delisted from NASDAQ. “Angiotech staked its fortunes to Boston Scientific Corp. (NYSE: BSX) and the Taxus drug-eluting stent for which Angiotech makes the drug paclitaxel, but it has struggled with sales of the stent in the cellar and still falling.”
