The CEO of a genomics company that pitched at the South by Southwest Accelerator competition in digital health, shared news that it has added a couple of strategic investors and inked a deal with the largest contract research organization.
Dr. Reid Robison of Tute Genomics said the business recently completed the second part of a Series A1 funding round in which it added Tencent — China’s largest Internet services portal —and Healthbox as strategic partners.
Quintiles also selected the company for its genomics interpretation platform.
